Philosophy

Exclusive to Fusion Suites Da Nang Beach, Maia Spa’s innovative reflexology treatments draw inspiration from both the old and new worlds of healing, combining traditional oils and essences with 21st-century understandings of biology and human anatomy.

Reflexology in various forms has been in existence for millennia, with historical evidence pointing to its use in Egypt and China as early as 4000BCE. Based on the theory that key pressure points on the feet, hands, lower legs, even the face and ears, correspond to different parts of the body, reflexology is now widely practiced throughout the world for various medical and non-medical reasons.

Maia Spa’s reflexology treatments are non-invasive and are aimed at guiding your mind and body towards a state of complete well-being with the help of Fusion’s balanced food and drink choices, our daily yoga classes, and the positive Fusion lifestyle.

We invite you to enjoy foot reflexology each and every day at no extra cost, like bringing health and wellness to you in unique and unexpected ways. Whether you’re suffering from jet lag, fatigue, anxiety, or stress, or are simply looking to shake off the distractions of the modern world, our talented spa therapists are here to help.

*Little plus about some yoga class.

Hatha yoga
It is the foundation of all type of Yoga with the desire of harmonizing both masculine energies “HA” as the sun and feminine energies “THA” as the moon. Hatha Yoga tries to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempts to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical poses called Asanas, breathing techniques and meditation.

Yin yoga
Yin yoga uses passive postures for long periods of time. Yin Yoga is an ideal practice to compensate to a busy and stressful lifestyle; it allows exploring our body in a new ways and understanding the principle of letting go.
